Patrol Officers are the backbone of every Police Department. Most Police Officers are regular Patrol Officers. The job as Patrol Officer is the regular job that varies slightly between the different Departments. As a Patrol Officer you will normally be briefed, than go on duty and get in your vehicle on Patrol. You will patrol the Streets and Freeways of Los Angeles and LA County and hand out citations for various reasons. You will also respond to Emergency Callouts that are either submitted by Civilians or created by fellow Officers who require assistance.
